Angie and the ER
Nothing but bad news today. Angie was outside playing with Zusa today when I heard her come inside and call for me saying she needed a little help. Apparently while jumping, she heard a pop and then felt immediate pain in her calf muscle. She cannot walk. We load up and head for the ER. We arrived around 2:30pm and left around 8:30pm. They took a X-Ray and Ultra-Sound and pronounced it a strained muscle. She left the ER with a new pair of crutches. We can only hope she’s able to walk by Wednesday. We are supposed to catch the plane early Thursday morning. Blah – this is not good.

We found a surprise for Li when we got home tonight! A big pink crate was waiting on the front porch from Jackie; she’s making sure we have our priorities straight. We have a bikini, matching bows, Li’s very own beach towel, flip flops (so cute!) and all the other things needed for a great day at the beach! And a babydoll for the ride home. I can’t wait to get pictures.

We have the beginning of Li’s bedroom. Her cousin’s Abby who is 13, and Savannah-11, shared their baby bed and Strawberry Shortcake videos. While we were putting the bed together we came across what looks like teeth marks. Wonder who did that?!
Lisa “took” me shopping and helped me find the crib set, otherwise I’m not sure I would have ever gotten this bedroom together. We found a great sale and were like “WOW” grab two of everything! And so that’s why Li has a great little bedroom…with two crib sets!

Erica, the daughter of our friend’s Donna and Jeff, just turned 18 in January. This month she attended a Winter Formal with her date. Cute couple and very sweet of Erica to pose barefoot! She’s just a wee bit taller than her Mom and me. She’s beautiful but really she should only be 6 years old! I’m pretty sure I remember Erica offering free babysitting services…. any time?

Filed under Family, Friends, Photos | Comment (0)Emily’s Scrapbook for Li Anna
Our 13 year old friend Emily made a beautiful little scrapbook for Li. The pictures are from our Couple’s Shower, Feb 9th. Emily said she has enjoyed looking at the baby shower scrapbook made for her Mom while she was waiting for her and so she wanted to do this for Li. We thought this was a wonderful idea and sweet of Emily to offer. We couldn’t wait to see it! I can imagine Li looking over these pictures one day and asking questions about the people, gifts and the person who made the book. Maybe some day Li can do the same thing for someone else. The only problem with this scrapbook is there isn’t a picture of Emily in there! Maybe I can correct this problem soon.

Free Meal – yeah!
Misty and Curt invited us over tonight for supper. They both gave us some more wonderful tips for packing and what to expect. Thanks guys for a nice evening. Sam was entertaining as usual. Here’s a few pics of Sam – he’s growing!
Here’s a few pictures Misty sent us of Curt and Sam playing in the snow back in January:

Foot Book.
Angie came home with the ‘Foot Book’ this evening. Must be a newer Dr Seuss – I don’t remember a Foot Book. – oh well..

Li has beautiful new clothes! She’s going to be the most beautiful little girl in town thanks to the generous gifts from her family and friends. This is just a sampling of the dresses and pant sets and I can hardly wait to see her in each little outfit. Pictures will be posted! I was in Penney’s over the weekend and there was a sale on swimsuits so I couldn’t help but get one. We are now ready for kayaking on the Caney Fork! or at least a trip to the beach.
